So yesterday was eventful. So much so that I did not find time to blog.

I did downtown in the morning. I saw the cathedral, the bishop's palace, the president's house (and the changing of the guard), santo Domingo church (where 3 saints are buried), the Franciscan monetary, mercad church, the museum of the inquisition (where the Spanish inquesition operated. I even went through the original dungeon area) i(ir was an amazing free tour) I also checked out the gran bolivar hotel. I was not impressed by that. I had A late lunch at Norky's a local chain. It was very good I may try to hit them again. They are a rotisserie chicken place. They had the most axing baste or rub on the chicken. I also had a local specialty of skewered beef heart. Whisch was also good (I won't be trying to track down beef heart at home but it far exceeded my expectations.

After that I found out Lori flight had been canceled. So i headed to thehotel she was at. We eventually decided to go to the museo larco that had amazing pre history pottery displays. Then we headed back to the hotel. After we arrived we tracked down the cash for my nasca lines tour had supper and relaxed in the hotel for awhile. Then Lori headed back to the aurport and me to my condo

That was yesterday. To day I think I'm going to walk to the nacional arquiology museum and then probably canto barranco for the afternoon. Then I will be at the condo early for bed so I will be up in time for my nasca tour departure at 4am
