So today we completed the toughest day of the trek. For 5 hours we hiked up hill until we were at 4200m. The first 4 hours were tough but alright. The last hour was a dog fight. We broke into 5 groups. Group A were the quickest and largest. Group B was heather from Ottawa and Sophie from London. We kept catching glimpses of them. But we were group C me Lori and Lucy from London. The last hour was so hard I would go 20-75m then need to take a break to catch my breath. Group d was Adam and Ashley they seem to have turned back but Ray oh guide won't tell us until dinner, what's up. There was also group f, Elisha in the U.S. Airforce and Marc from London who after day one of climbing the mountain turned around and hik d down on day two.
The are was so thin at the top and of the mountain we couldn't stay long other o take a few pictures. Then we climbed down into the next valley for 1.5hrs. I am so happy to be in camp and lying in my tent I can't describe it. I'm a little worried about how sore I will be tomorrow for our next much smaller me untainted and the longest day.
