So this was day 3 it was the best day and also the most challenging day. E started with a 5 am wake up call and we were hiking by 620am. We climbed a mountain then came down the other side and it was 9 something. Then continued down it and reached the summit of the next mountain at a little after noon. We had the largest meal of the trip. We had stuffed chicken breast soup. A second kind of stuffed chicken breast 3-4 kinds of salads, rice, kabob, cake with icons big and jello topping, and of course a soup we had aside rent soup at each meal but everyone o hem were awesome. After lunch we were introduced to each of the porters vamos is actually the younger of the two Ronaldo porters on our porter team 10. A lot of the porters have 5 kids one was 60 and one 61 and then an distribution between 19-55.
The hike today was awesome there were lots of inca sites. Lots of lamas and lots of Indiana jones style scenes and paths. It may have been the hardest day. But that is likely just because I'm tired and it was 16 km. and two mountains. I made it through but I slowing done a lot.
One other thing that was great was that our guide told us why we leave so early Tomorrow morning it is to ensure our porters make the 530 am train back home that is cheaper for them. With that in mind it will be easy to get our asses moving in the morning.
