The Great Outdoors
On 19 May we visited Worcester where the boys played a rugby match. After the match we drove via Villiersdorp to Kleinmond to visit family.
We had heavy rains and the first cold front of winter moving in over the Cape. The sun broke though in places and the Overberg and winelands were a visual display of rustic colours. The green mountains, yellow and red vineyards and the rolling wheatfields created a mosaic of colours. Driving through the mountains and vineyards down the rolling hills of the Overberg and then into the coastal plains and the Bot River wetland and Hermanus is one of the spectacular drives in the Western Cape, especially during winter.
