Today was such a beautiful sunny day that I decided to go back to S-u-A to see Anne Hathaway's cottage which I never got to do in November. It was such a different view with all the spring flowers and blue sky! Very warm though, I walked through town and up to the cottage which took me around 35mins but I was able to see some of the most gorgeous thatched cottages. How I would love to have one!!
Anne's cottage was beautiful- the grounds were huge, a lot larger than I thought, with lots of herb/veg gardens and an orchard. They also have a sculpture garden and a woodlands walk where I got to see some bluebells.
Such a long day (2 hour bus rides each way) but I'm glad I went back to see the last of the Shakespeare houses. It's still one of my favourite parts of the midlands!
