My housemates (minus Dan) and I went for dinner and drinks in Birmingham tonight as a pre-farewell thing. It was a great evening with lots of laughs. I love this bunch and hope we stay friends forever. I decided on traditional steak & ale pie with mash in a pub that was an old bank, it was very English and the decor was great. Today was such a beautiful sunny day that I decided to go back to S-u-A to see Anne Hathaway's cottage which I never got to do in November. It was such a different view with all the spring flowers and blue sky! I caught the train up to Liverpool this weekend as the start of my school holidays. I'm heading to Scotland- but I had to stop here first! Another castle to add to my collection! This one was different to the others in that it was built solely for showing off purposes! The views were amazing, looking across the Derbyshire countryside I can imagine the desire to see that out of a grand window each morning.
