Today was great! I have been wanting to go back to Stratford after briefly looking around it 8 years ago. My housemate, Helen, and I decided to pay out for the museum and house entrances which turned out to be quite fascinating and also valid for a year! We never got as far as Anne Hathaway's cottage so we can go back and do that again later and not have to pay again. I love the houses, they really are beautiful and take my breath away. I love cobbled streets and creaky staircases all the while remembering that 400 years ago people were walking those same streets and same hallways! It's incredible.
Anyway- I think it's probably one of my favourite places in England and especially good when you go and it's it not overly busy. I'd hate to try navigate around in the summer!
