Nearly time to travel to Cornwall for the off. No time for any more preparation or training - its either done or won't get done.

Had a nightmare with the cycle carrier last night. After a battle royal to get it fixed on the car, I drove to Hertford to pick Helen up. On the way home bike carrier and 2 bikes came off the back of the car into the middle of the street.

11 o'clock at night and I'm dismantling the carrier to squeeze it and the bikes into the back of my car. 6 o'clock this morning I'm emptying all out to start again - this time without the carrier.

Could have been worse - it could have happened on the M25.
