Hi everyone,

Well I have to say that the saddles of the tandem haven't been warmed up as often as they might have but we've both been getting a bit of training in, so hopefully we should be OK. We start the ride on the 19th of this month, I take the van to Penzance on the 16th, then we travel to Inverness by train on the 18th, getting a transfer with the tandem to John O'Groats early on the 19th.

We are going to try to raise as much money as we can, via sponsorship, in support of the McMillan Cancer Charity. They were brilliant looking after our dear friend Monty, in his last months. I'll send details of how to give in our next blog.

Sorry about the crap quality picture, Kent Messenger wanted £20 for us to use it without the bubbles on it so you've got the bubbles!
