Day 3 Camp 5

Today we took the boats along the river to visit the head hunters. The river trip was cool... It really bought out that kid in me that died years ago! The headhunters had made various things with beads and some blow pipes... From there we went on to the cave of the winds and the ladies cave... Sadly no ladies! Then an 8k yomp through the jungle to camp 5. The swim in the river was sooooooooo refreshing. Set up the mosquito net and now I am off to take pics before dinner!! I am too knackered to blog... It is taking 100% of my effort to hold conversation without collapsing face down! To be honest if you had told me a month ago that I would be walking 8.8k through the rainforest of Borneo... And enjoying it, you would have got a two word answer... The second being off! I really do feel like I have wasted both time and money on beach holidays over the years when I could have been seeing this. Sadly I have neither the perspicacity or the energy to tell you how fantastic this place is! Plus I have been on holiday with groups of people before. And there are always either an a******* or pair or the afore mentioned. I don't know if it's this group or the type of holiday we are on but everyone is sound. I am now crashed out under my mosquito net with my travel pillow... I have doused everything with deet to make sure! Tomorrow is the Mulu gorge and the pinnacles!! Right... Ear plugs in and sleep!
