Excited to be on the continent for the next part of our trip. Meals are cheaper, more importantly beer is cheaper! Our time in Germany begins on the beautiful lake Muritz, staying in the Schloss Hotel which resembles something out of a fairytale.

We hired bikes yesterday and took a 40 klm ride around part of the lake. This is not a typo, and yes we are hurting today. It took us 3 hours and we went past beaches, boats, villages, through forests and fields, it was stunning.

The weather held out enough and we took a ferry back to the hotel which took an hour and a half - we rode a long way!

Only a couple of nights here, but could easily stay longer. Today off to Berlin, which we are very much looking forward to.
