We've loved Munich, it's like Berlin's glamerous grown up big sister. We're staying near the famous English gardens, so we've enjoyed some time in the famous beer gardens lapping up the generous steins.

We had some good recommendations for dinners from the Munich wallpaper guide. A great little Italian pizzeria and a very trendy German pub. It's hard to avoid ordering half a beast with potatoes for every meal, but we've learnt some more words so we've enjoyed some pastas and other things.

We're on our way to Austria tomorrow where we have an apartment for a week near the foot of the Alps. We will stop by Neuschwanstein Castle on the way (you probably would have seen pictures of this, Disney-like). We may be offline for a while but we still love hearing from everybody.
