We started the day by going to the Farmers Market which was great - fabulous foods and crafts. I wish I could buy stacks of things and bring them all home but my suitcase is already quite full and heavy!
Later in the morning we headed for Nova Scotia where we will attend the Celtic Colours Festival.
The drive was lovely and I saw my first moose. New Brunswick has put in fencing along the main highway to reduce the number of accidents and this moose was on the other side of the fence just strolling along.
We stopped for lunch in Aulac and then drove on to Ian's cousin's place near New Glasgow. Marjorie & Kirk live in a beautiful place with their 3 kids, a lovely big old black Labrador called Bear and 4 cats. We sat in the kitchen chatting for hours and were fed well and given a comfy bed for the night. It was good to break up the trip to Whycocomagh - tomorrow the drive will only be a couple of hours or so.
