Today we had a final walk around Freeport and stopped in a lovely tea shop for scones and tea. It was sooo good! We then hit the road for Boothbay Harbour in Maine. Less than an hour by road and very pretty with the autumn colours. When we arrived and checked into our motel, we went to the main shops and wandered around this very pretty seaside village. Today we left our little Boston apartment and caught the train to Portland in Maine. The rain had passed and skies were blue again. Upon arriving we collected Liz's car which she had left here on her way down from New Brunswick to New York. After having lunch at Maine Mall we drove to Freeport not far away where we checked into our motel. I still feel strange sitting on the 'wrong' side of the car!
