Today we left our little Boston apartment and caught the train to Portland in Maine. The rain had passed and skies were blue again. Upon arriving we collected Liz's car which she had left here on her way down from New Brunswick to New York.

After having lunch at Maine Mall we drove to Freeport not far away where we checked into our motel. I still feel strange sitting on the 'wrong' side of the car!

We then went to the shopping centre where we spent a good hour in one store - LLBean. We don't have these stores in Australia but hubby buys from them online. There are several LLBean stores here and we went in a couple but the most impressive was the fishing and hunting store. It was massive.

After shopping around we had an early dinner in a restaurant that is run by the granddaughter of - you guessed it - LLBean! It was pretty good.
