Hey you guys
Currently in an internet place in KhoSan Road with my new room mate Natalie who comes from Australia. We've satisfied our craving for chicken burgers and chips tonight and enjoyed some tiger beer and wine whilst listening to live music, I thought of you Mum and Dad when Dire Straights Walk of Life was played! It's so unreal! This time last week I was in Christchurch and now here I am on Kho San Road absolutely living the dream!! NB. We were offered tickets for a pingpong show earlier, NICE! For those who don't know what that is look it up, and mum it doesn't invovle a table tennis table!! :-)
This morning I braved having breakfast alone, might not sound scary to most people but I find eating a very sociable thing to do and don't often, actualy ever do it alone (when out!) so I ate my toast and jam and got out of there ASAP!! I actually walked into the kitchen instead of the exit door which was rather embarrasing and my first blonde moment of my trip!! I took my first malaria tablet today so decided to stay in the hotel room for a bit incase I was sick or anything! I woke up four hours later and my tummy felt rather dodgy. I was mid way through trying to flush the loo when the phone rang! Now my phone never rings so trousers round ankles I legged it to the phone and was told someone is coming to your room!! SSSSHHHIIITTT!!I was like yeah yeah expecting it to be a member of staff and before I had time to stay bob's your uncle or flush the somewhat full toilet there was a knock at the door!! Turns out it was my room mate Natalie who is on the 10 day Thailand tour with me! We introduced ourselves and I stood there praying she wouldn't ask to use the loo!! Thankfully she didn't and I excused myself to go to the toilet! I stood there and for ten seconds held down the flush hoping it would work and my golly was I glad to lift the lid and see an empty loo!! Drama over !! Don't know why I'm choosing to share this story with you! But those who know me well know I'm a sharer!! Well except when it comes to food!!
This afternoon we've chilled out, read some of book and done some hand washing! Don't faint Mum!!
That's all for now folks!! I'm doing a three day hilltribe trek from Saturday and won't be in touch much, so don't panic!
Love you loads xxx
ps. excuse the spelling, im a little tipsy! xx
