The last two days have been spent on a motorcycle tour from Hue to Hoi An. Our trip took us through many different villages that are way off the beaten path and even to some major tourist attractions. It poured rain the first day! We caught a sleeper train to Dong Hoi at 7:30pm and arrived in Dong Hoi at 7:45am. It was a pretty good sleep. Spent the day pimpin on a sick boat cruising all over ha long bay. Took a walking tour of the "amazing cave". Biggest cave in the bay. It was HUGE! Our room on the boat was impressive. Day two in Hanoi was all about Ho Chi Minh. We saw his mausoleum, museum, presidential palace and botanical garden. And for the first time in over a year we saw grass! But we weren't allowed to walk on it :( We stopped for a $5 lunch at a sidewalk cafe on Dien Bien Phu street where they squeezed us some fresh pineapple juice. After a long day of traveling, we've finally made it to our hotel. We arrived late but were pleased to see the night manager had pulled up a cot in the lobby so he could open the door when we got here. The room is beautiful.
