The bus to the canyon was super cold and bumpy but we eventually got to a look out spot and saw some courdors, which is a massive bird. I got a bit of altitude sickness as we were going down, it's not particularly nice. Eventually for to the village we were staying in and checked into this super cool hostel called pacamammas, which had the cutest kitten ever. We then went on what was supposed to be a short walk up a little hill to see some ruins and a volcano on the other side, but Damen decided that we take a short cut which e des up being a long cut and we went completely off course and the altitude was horrible and there was a shed load of cactus, 3 of which punctured my legs And u had to pull them out, I did scream a but like a girl at this point but I'd say I was allowed. After we eventually returned we had some food and went to sleep as I didn't feel great. Altitude is a horrid. The next day we were all supposed to have a walk down into the canyon to the oasis but Damen and Harmka didn't feel great so just me and Chris went. It was quite enjoyable for the first 2 hours but the latter 2 was horrid. Hot, steep and a bit dangerous. We eventually got to the oasis knackered and collapsed for a bit. Literally. Had a nap and then swam in the oasis pool ate some food and went to bed.
