We arrived pretty late last night. After something of a delay in the lobby we finally got to our rooms and the side see that I was to be sleeping on wasn't made up. We got some sheets for it that turned out to be quilt covers. But it worked for what we needed and they made it up properly the next day.

Pass of sharing rooms if I didn't have to. Jennifer wails in her sleep. Luckily she bought ear plugs. Jennifer had to get me up in time for breakfast. It's quite a walk to the restaurant, on the other side of the island basically. But the view... Wow. This is why we come to Fiji.

After breakfast we walked around for a bit down the ocean side of the island. Went all the way up to the chapel which was just gorgeous. Then we felt like a lounge so we got changed into our togs and headed for the adults only pool. No little kids, it great.

There is a pool outside our room that the kids can go in that Jennifer called an infinity pool. We'll have to give that a try while we're here.

After spending all morning by the pool, I think I have had a bit too much sun. As in I am really burnt. After Jackie arrived we spent some time on our balcony having a few drinks, before Jackies nagging sent her and Jennifer down to the pool outside our room. They didn't take any key and told me to stay in the room to get back in. Trouble is when I left I forgot and didn't take my key either. So I have to trek half way around the island to the front desk and get another one. I imagine this happens quite a lot though cause it was not issue for them to give me one.

Then it was back to some dedicated relaxing in our rooms before dinner. We went to the Beach Bar and Grill for tea which was nice but nothing fancy. We drifted through some of the shops and I picked out a nice charm for my bracelet. Then Jennifer decided to get it for me as my birthday present. Apparently she was waiting for some inspiration i.e. me telling her what I wanted.

We got an icecream for desert and wandered back to our rooms. It started raining. Fortunately it was still really warm. Then it was an early night for Jackie who had had a long day. I watched a move on my laptop and called it a night.
