We arrived in Kaikoura late this afternoon after a long day on the bus. This is the last place we are visiting before flying home on Tuesday which is very sad but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again so it's not all bad I suppose!! Tomorrow Katy and I are going fishing for crayfish which is a local delicacy and in Maori, Kaikoura actually means 'bowl of crayfish'. Crayfish cost over $80 to buy in a restaurant so we thought we'd cut out the middle man and do it ourselves - I'm not sure how successful this will be but fingers crossed. The next day I am going whale watching which is something I've been looking forward to all holiday! We thought we'd spend our last day in New Zealand having a nice walk around the peninsula before commencing the 31 hour journey home. See you soon!!!
