Today we travel on the trans coastal express down to Christchurch. The views are amazing but we are so tired we keep dropping off (I mean sleep).
We go to stand in the viewing gallery which is basically a carraige with no seats or walls or windows. Just a low rail around it. We cling on for dear life and can hardly breath we are going so fast. The views are amazing as we are going along the shore line and the waves are breaking against the sides of the track.
Leanne- don't worry I still have the hat- I got it back after it fell off on the ski slope. The hat is keeping me warm but the plaits are whipping me in the face.
When we get to Christchurch a bloke puts our luggage in his trailer and says he will drop us off at our back packers lodge- we so must look the part now but we are upgrading to a late rooms deal. We have an amazing room with mezanine level for the bedroom, a kitchen, longe and bathroom on the ground floor- he drops us off there anyway as he's dropping the others off around the corner.
I'm trying out some wine tonight -I'm going for half a glass to see how it goes.
