A trip to out to Geoff's in Wales is now over and a great time was had. Whilst it was very wet (even for Wales), the Motorhome proved to be an excellent shelter at night. The music was good, the company excellent, and all in all an excellent continuation of ovr 10 years of parties.

And now back in Basingstoke, having returned from the Cambridge Folk Festival last night. We left early before the end, as it was a three and a half hour journey. Rox had to be in work in the morning and Adrian had a stage school to attend. Even leaving early meant that we arrived home at 10:30 in the evening so in our view it was a wise choice.

An early start for David as he got up and went to see a Blues guitar workshop in the morning with Eric Bibb. An excellent chance to see Eric play close up and see the skill that comes from his fingers when playing the blues. Upon returning to the motorhome, We had lunch, Adrian listened to James and the Gaint Peach, and we started to look at the weather forecast.

The second main day of the festival begins with all of us working out how to use the local bus services. A relative of Rox's lives in Cambridge and so we had arranged to met up wit Laurance and his girlfriend for Lunch before going to festival site for the night. A good call on our part as the rain came down during lunch at a local resturant in the City Centre. Returning to the festival, we had a good night listening Eric Bibb and Allen Toussaint. Left just aft...

The first day of the main festival. We spent the morning at the campsite picking up some supplies and getting in to the swing of the festival. Made some lunch and put together a picnic for the evening. Once ready we headed down to the Cherry Hilton site and listened to a band on Stage Two, not sure who it was but it was pretty good.
