The next day we packed up and drove into Orange, we managed to find parking in the centre town square where we had planned and discovered that the parking was free between 12 and 2. We put in some money to get us through to 3pm and walk to find some lunch. Once lunch was completed, a slow but not unpleasent meal with mistral providing the entertainment (A few empty tables got blown over), we walked across the street in to the Roman theatre. This place was big, 9000 seats and is still used for productions (It was the venue for a number of rock festivals in the past). We glanced out the watch and discovered that the site was so large it had eaten up our time, so David went out and purchased some extra parking time and then come back to complete the visit. It was a remarkable building and it turns out it is only one of three in the world that has a complete backwall in place. (The other two are in Turkey and Syria).
Once the trip was completed we travelled up up to our next campsite.
