Ko phi phi... We had heard big things about this place and everyone was excited to get there... It lived up to expectations too... After a few days at least! Arriving in sweltering heat, ko phi phi has no cars or roads because it's so small so we had to walk to the other side of the bay which we were told took about 10 minutes. It's very easy to get lost in phi phi!! All the lanes are small and very similar looking.. But soon the "roads" started getting slightly...

Krabi.. The name didn't give us high hopes, to me it just sounds like a weird s.t.d. But it was actually a really nice change from the other islands which we had just left. We first had to get a slow boat to the main land then go across by coach. It was extremely hot that day and it was painful to have to walk with our backpacks in almost 40degrees! The coach was horrible! After standing around waiting for instructions and only being given a sticker for any form...

We arrived in ko phangnan after a very slow ferry from ko samui. We were all glad to be off from boring granny/ benidorm island and ko phangnan was immediately better. We got a pick up truck to our lovely 4 star resort at haad tian in the north. There were some canadians in the truck who were all laughing at the fact some girl had asked for fags and trousers.. Which they found hilarious! The resort we had booked was down an extremely bumpy dirt track in the middl...

We arrived at koh samui on a very rough and bumpy ferry from ko Tao, so rough in fact that people were throwing up over the edge, which is always pleasant that early in the morning. Since we left in torrential rain none of us put sun cream on resulting in very red miserable girls when we finally arrived! First impressions of koh samui weren't great, it looked more like benidorm than Thailand. The endless rows of tacky tourist shops next to girl bars was disappoin...

We spent 4 days in the amazingly beautiful ko Tao, abi and Emily took a padi diving course whilst Megan and I took the time to relax on the beach. We also went quad biking and sea kayaking, which was both really cool! The quad biking slightly scary when it started to rain heavily, but still fun. We've now arrived in ko samui, the biggest island of the three, and first impressions aren't great! Our hotel is in the middle of a building site just off the main strip ...
