We spent 4 days in the amazingly beautiful ko Tao, abi and Emily took a padi diving course whilst Megan and I took the time to relax on the beach. We also went quad biking and sea kayaking, which was both really cool! The quad biking slightly scary when it started to rain heavily, but still fun. We've now arrived in ko samui, the biggest island of the three, and first impressions aren't great! Our hotel is in the middle of a building site just off the main strip of tacky restaurants, it doesn't look dissimilar to khao San road, which is never a good thing. It's also surprisingly empty! It's probably just the disappointment of this hotel compared to Ban's in Ko Tao which was a 4 star resort! X
