London Day 16
Our last day in London. We went back to Leceister Square to go to a comic book store that was having a Dr. Who event Ellie wanted to check out. Luke and Amy walked around while I hung out with Ellie. As we were all standing on the street about to head to the Tube, a convoy of cars sped through the street. One of the cars had the royal flag on top and a women in it who looked a lot like the Queen Elizabeth. We later learned that it was Queen Elizabeth on the way to a WWII victory in Japan commemoration. That was cool!!' We enjoyed lunch at the Burrough Market so much yesterday that we figured we would go back again today. It was a good choice as I had what Luke had yesterday and it was delicious . After lunch Amy and Ellie walked around the St. Paul's a little more. Luke and I had tickets to Fulham FC (we toured their stadium last week) vs. Brighton and Hove Albion FC at Fulham's ground, Craven Cottage. Our tickets were three rows from the field so we were nice and close to the action. We were also close to the Brighton end and their fans stood and sang the whole match. Sadly Fulham lost 2-1. They gave up a goal in the last couple minutes of the match. The Fulham fans were not unhappy, but Luke and I had fun. After the match,
we met Amy and Ellie back at the flat, grabbed our luggage, and took the Tube to Heathrow for our flight to Iceland.
