Courtesy Bus from Noosa picked us up at 08:30am and it was one of the hottest days of the year around 38Degrees...a right scorcher CRIKEY!! The bus played video's of 'Steve Irwin' and really got everyone in the mood for seeing the Crocs.
It cost $36 each to go in and the park is really big and it's Australian animals mainly as they have so many native animals. The Croc show started at 11:30am so we had 2 hours to stroll up the park looking at the Koala's, Tasmanian Devils, Dingoe's etc. The show was being held at the 'Crocuseum' how original!! The crocuseum holds around 5000 people and is really impressive with a big pool in the middle for the water snakes and crocs. The show started with a bird show which was cool and then they bought out the snakes around 20 of them of all species, the water snake impressing mainly......then lastly the main event the 'Croc Show'!! Steve Irwins close friend Wes was doing the show and it was brilliant the Croc swam in pretty effortlessly and then chased the meat around there so massive and powerful its quite scary but amazing to see. The show lasted around an hour and was well worth it, afterwards we went downstairs where the Steve Irwin memorial is and that was very sad and nice at the same time, there was so many nice messages left from all over the world and the guy deserves it he's a legend!!
We had some lunch and then visited the top end of the park where the Tigers, Crocodiles, Alligators, Elephants, Camels and Lizards live. The park is expanding all the time and more and more animals are moving here it's a real cool place. There was a Koala show at 2.30pm and Ria got to Pat the Koala which made her pretty happy and Ben went up to the Kangaroo park to Pat them as there tame!!
We got back to Noosa around 5pm and really enjoyed the day Steve Irwins a LEGEND!!
