Wednesday - sunny
Morning Washing water! Is what we have been waking up this trek. We got ready and went out for breaky.
There was a mystery at breakfast, we left our clothes and shoes out by the poor excuse of a fire overnight, trying to dry after the snow soaked day yesterday. Our clothes and shoes had been chucked across the room. There was the chef, a couple helpers and the evil owner sleeping in the dinning room. We all put our money on the devil owner women doing the dirty deed. Shes a real piece of work. We put our clothes outside in the sun to try and dry them out some more. It a shame we had to stay back at this rip-off hotel. Nevermind.
It also was our breakup day. Four people were leaving the group to go and climb island peak.
We had one more last group photo and said our good byes before we hit the track. It was a great semi clear day today, perfect temperature. Big problem was my feet though, I think because of the long wet walk yesterday. My feet had turned all soft and started to form blisters all around the toe area.
It was such along walk today it just kept going. It seemed harder to because of the feet. Late in the arvo the clouds started to roll in so we must be getting close to Namche, there were clouds constantly there last time. As close as we were to Namche, we couldn't get there. Especially when we got stuck behind a bunch of slow yaks. That wasn't too bad we got to go slow through a really small but great looking town. I must get a map and try and find out the name.
We eventually made it to the lodge, and we were welcomed with a hot towel. Final back at a decent lodge that doesn't rip you off. Big 9hr trek today and immediately off with the shoes. Their pretty stuffed the poor little piggies. We ordered our dinner then went back to the room to rest for the couple hours before dinner.
We watched a deny Tibetan movie after dinner, not to shabby, should of gone to bed though, very tired today. My eyes are very bloodshot. Big push to Phakding tomorrow.

Cathy So much walking but beautiful sights Yeah the feet sure need a break, but definitely worth it
Jan Did you have to pay a big fat ugly troll so that you could pass by the yaks? Must be getting your tek mixed up with the tale, The 3 Billy Goats Gruff! Ha! No toll our guide yelled at the yak herder something along the lines of Keep control of your yaks and move them over buddy. It was funny
