We made it to South Africa! We are staying at Melville international backpackers in Johannesburg and everyone is lovely. We have pitched our tent on the sun deck which could make for an interesting nights sleep. Never had to hammer tent pegs in between decking before! Had a lovely meal at La Luna restaurant around the corner and enjoyed some very cheap local wine! Booked on a tour of Soweto tomorrow and then a trip to the apartheid museum. We will let you know how it goes! X
