". . .life is short and the world is wide"
I went for a run through the town of Sesto today, and worked my way up the mountains, over a river with an old bridge up to a hill overlooking the town. It was so beautiful, I couldn't help to stop and just soak up the view for a few minutes (not to mention that I was completely exhausted from running uphill haha).
So at this point I am now nominated the Villa hairdresser. No one wants to have Italians cut their hair, and they don't want to pay for it so I have been doing lots of hair cuts! So far I have cut 2 guys hair, and have 3 appointments for after spring break. And I have cut 2 girls hair, and have 2 appointments after spring break. I think by the time this semester is over I will have cut close to everyone's hair at this rate! It's so fun, and I'm so flattered that they trust me!
Exams went great, I had my first art history exam, and it was pretty intense, you really had to know your stuff, but I think I did really well. Italian was super easy, gosh I love Italian, and it is so much easier when you are immersed it in. I love our Italian professor; she is the sweetest lady alive! Our presentation for our masters and workshop class went really well, and so did everyone else's, they were surprisingly very interesting! But after 3 hours, I couldn't help but to fall asleep.
