So yesterday was the first day of classes. Its funny because the classes are so small and you know everyone and see them everywhere, I feel like I'm in class with a bunch of brothers and sisters of something. Its cool tho. The walls of the villa the thin and everything echos and creeks so class is often loud, you can here everything that is going on in the other rooms. Had modernn art yesterday, and went to a little cafe afterwards with the girls and talked and did some reading, ourlittle town that we live in is so CUTE! Had italian class later, I was nervous ebcause I didn't remember anything but it all came back to be rather quickly. After dinner, Sarah and I took a 20 minute bus ride into florence. It was the first time we took the bus by ourselves so we were kinda nervous but we did great! When we were close to florence, the bus just stopped and turned off for 10 minutes, we were confused but eventually we got there... thats europe for ya I guess, pretty unreliable. We wandered around the city for like and hour and a half until I had the worst blisters ever. We were looking for this coffee shop and couldnt find it so we went to a little pizza place. The waiters were wearing ties suits with puma tennis shoes, it was so cute. All the tables were beautifully set, and all we ordered was tiramisu because we were cheap! Our waiters spoke a little english so we got to practice our italian, and they got to practice their english! So we had our little dessert in a cute lil cafe and read and did our homework. I taught sarah some italian, and she taught me a lot of european history! So basically I made good friends with Giovanne, my lil italian waiter, he is in his last year of architecure school at the Univerisity of Florence, so we are so excited he is going to show us around and we are excited to have some italian friends! WOOO! hes pretty darn CUTE too! I have lots of class today, so i'm gonna get onto that, but i hope you are all doing wonderful!
