So i spent the morning checking emails, CLEANING the house, washing dishes ect, did some yoga with my $4 yoga mat : ) and then decided to wander about. So it turns out that the people who rent the apartment that I'm staying are willing to let me rent out the living room (which has a twin bed in it) for the month. Meaning, that I have another month in this place to find a real room. But, the rent is going to be cheaper living here anyway and I already know what's around here and the people living here and all, so it kinda works out in the end. This way I don't have to stress about where I'm moving to in two days, and I can save more than 100euros by staying here. The only downside, of course, is that it's a 'common' room meaning that people will be in here every so often, but that's ok because even now, they don't spend too much time in the room, as one of the rooms belongs to a couple and the guy works at home and pretty much stays in the room all day. I only don't know who will be taking the room that G is currently in. so, I'll see within the week. Oh and they have a dog. Her name is Millie, other than the color and size, she is kinda like a mini version of Max, ie same body shape and floppy ears and is really fast and likes to sleep a lot etc.So that's cool. I'm going to meet my advisor tomorrow to see "what I'll need to do the following week," although based upon all of the information that I've gathered thus far, it seems like it's not going to be difficult, just speaking English to the kids and helping with whatever the teacher needs me for. So as of now, I don't think I'll be spending too much time outside of work preparing lessons etc like is normal for most teachers.I'm still looking for a temp thing for Wednesdays (like another conversation class or taking care of a kid or two because French elementary schools don't meet on Wednesdays). Other things to look forward to: Gabe is coming on Sunday, and because it's the start of October, I'll finally have a monthly metro pass which luckily my school is paying half of because if not, having to travel to zone 5 on the Paris metro would be a very expensive ticket ("Paris" as you know it is all way inside zone 2, to give you an idea). Ok well that's all for now, I'm going to be having dinner with G tonight then we're going to a play reading (I think) and then tomorrow morning: to meet the staff!
En mi busqueda de un companero de piso (o una colocacion) he escrito un mensaje hoy en espanol, y como G me esta mas o menos esperando para preparar la cena, eso es todo para hoy.
