I've arrived in Paris. Made my way across the US and the Atlantic and arrived here at 6am. The sun isn't up at 6am. Just an observation. It was warmer than I thought it would be, not to say that it was warm, just warmer. Then I realized that my freaking out over the lack of warm socks could wait a few weeks. At least until I find an apartment, which is the current challenge. Emails and responses, thats what its all about at this point. Waiting till I can find a "place of my own." But its ok, I've been here a few hours, and of course, the jet lag is starting to kick in. Of course 9 hours makes a difference. I took a walk around the neighborhood with the other temporary housemate staying in this apartment. We walked his friends' dog. It was nice to see the city walking around peacefully by day. We had a coffee and then got some bread on the way back to the apartment. Had bread and jam with tea of course, for lunch. I waited for Georgina, looked up some more places, emailed some more folks, etc. Now I'm pondering: sleep at 8pm, or wandering of the city. TBD. That's all for now. VOILA!
