Today we went to see the Elephants, our day started at 9.30am so a light breakfast at 9ish of fruit and a fried egg and we had a car picking us up through the tour itself- the jungle book.
Now you all must know by now that drivers in India don't really give a damn!
This driver was bordering on wanting to get the bride to a wedding on time or wanted to die in a high speed crash!! He was proper going round blind corners with on coming traffic, music blaring out I wondered if he knew he had passengers! Not happy as he was risking our lives but in my eyes that is the way he drives.
So we get to a The Jungle Book in tact and pay the £104 which was for two of us Violet went free and we had a guide to take us around the place.
We walked to the first stop which was to ride on an elephant, we all were very excited and we got there the man told me to sit sideways and Summer & Violet sat facing front ways.
We were on board this giant animal, walking round on Nellie bloody amazing, walked around the part of the park for about fifteen minutes and stopped for photos which will be posted.
Violet wasn't scared at all, she hopped straight on with mummy and was looking down at nellies head, even reaching down to try and stroke it at one point.
Once we had been round the park which was approx 15 mins we came back to the start for next on the agenda feeding the elephant.
Violet started to be a bit scared as now we are on the ground next to Nellie and his big trunk came out looking for the food we purchased (crooks haha) but the elephant took the food then summer & myself had a go at feeding the elephant. Violet hesitantly held out the ball of food (video will be posted) and the big trunk gently swung it and took it away.
We then went on after feeding the elephant to the river where a large but young elephant (18 years old) was waiting to give us all a shower!! Violet n summer were first up but Violet was not having it, as she says" I don't like it"
So summer climbs onto the elephant who proceeds to take in the water from the river and spray her with such power absolutely hilarious and the elephant kept doing it for a good few mins then off she came battered by the force of water(haha).
I hop on and wait for my drenching!! Whoooosh!! Omg powerful or what, the pressure is like a water cannon but very refreshing and after he has battered me with water we take some pictures with the elephant which Violet did not want to be in as she didn't like it. Bless her! The water would have knocked her for six to be fair as we had no idea how powerful it would be- summer was the Guinea pig! Haha
The elephant then stood next to us and it gave summer a hug with its trunk- ahhhh!
We leave there and go on a little walk around the spices that they grow which produce coffee,Cardomon, bananas, peppercorns basically loads of things too many to mention.
Very interesting but not as good as the elephants.... We head to lunch and have an Indian which is very nice before we head back with the driver from the Fast n Furious and Summer tells him before we set off to slow down as you drive to fast(haha) he seemed better in the way home but me n baby Violet had a snooze and left Summer to witness Vin Diesel driving!!
Just as we reach near where we are we are all awake and suddenly we stop- there is a massive branch fallen from the tree onto some cables above blocking the path.
The driver gets out and another two people go out to investigate and see if it can be removed, Summer suggests I go and help them in which my reply was I'm not going anywhere to help move that big branch from a live cable.... Within minutes a loud crack and sparks fly from the cable where the branch is.. I look at Summer n say & you want me to help? you trying to kill me hahaha.
We manage to divert on another very very narrow lane- JUST big enough for one car...problem is several other people took the same back route in both directions so we're stuck and the river had to keep reversing and scratched up his car! But we finally got back in one piece, the day at The Jungle Book was good and we all enjoyed it.
Big D still with you just(haha).
