Saturday night and we are off to the night market, we get a taxi for £12 which includes the return and we have 2 hours in the market.
We arrive and OMG! the place is utter madness 100s of people loads of cars & motorbikes basically going to the night market.
There is security at the gates and a metal detector which I suppose gives you some security with all these people whether it helps or not but it's a deterrentc.
Now we are in with Buggy amongst the people and the locals want you to buy on there stall... I give u good price! How much you wanna pay! & if you stop to have a look or me and Summer stop at a stall to have a chat about an item! Oh Lordy Lord you have open the gates to hell!!(haha).
It's all good fun but with Violet a bit grizzly we go in search of some food for her and there are a vast number of food outlets to choose from but we decide on some dumplings and then get a chicken shwarma. whilst waiting for the Chicken shwarma the DJ in a bar next to the stall is playing some nice 80s soul tunes very cool and giving only the Pompey latest score so I guess he was a Pompey fan.
We start walking around the market again and Summer buys without hassle some nice sandals for £3 or £4 bargain and they are very nice.
Violet is still moody so we decide to call it an evening as the place is huge and we won't see it all anyway with moody pants and a buggy.
On the way back to the taxi and the traffic chaos has not changed people coming and going they don't care if you have a child and a buggy, on route back a motorbike stops suddenly and Violets front wheel and foot(slightly) hits the back wheel! There was no traffic in front of him he just decided to randomly stop(*#*#) need I say more. Summer wasn't happy with me, we carry on walking through the madness that is people and finally get to the taxi man who is waiting.
Mad experience that was good but with a buggy n a child not in a good mood it was tough.
Roll on the next market at another place!( God help us)
Big D
The market is good but with Violet still
