After stopping at a supermarket and renting snorkle gear we headed to the Prince Hotel beach, also known as Turtle Town! After a bit of sun bathing Nick and I went in the sea, put our flippers and snorkles on and started swimming out.

The reef was huge and we saw loads of different fish and the best bit . . . . . we saw 2 endangered green Sea Turtles!! The first one we saw was swimming around us for ages, it was so peaceful watching him. The 2nd was lying on the ocean floor amongst the coral, Nick spotted him. Te whales were singing again so Nick got to hear it today, such a beautiful sound. We were so far out, took a long time to swim back to shore.

After sunbathing we moved into Makena Big Beach. Whilst sitting on the beach we could see loads of whales jumping out of the water and playing, as well as squirting water! We could see them so clearly. After a couple of hours at Big Beach we stopped in Kihei to watch the sunset where again we watched the whales out in the ocean.
