I got up around 8 in my freezing hostel room and watched a bit of MTV. They have South American room-raiders..it's hilarious! I also listened to a few of the songs that are big here and will no doubt remind me of many drunken nights in Cusco; Hips don`t lie-Shakira, Pasame la Botella- Match and Daddy, Gasolina and Me voy Julieta Venegas, Ven Bailalo-Khris & Angel and Libido-Lonely. Go on Monteforte download some and listen to them on your super Ipod! Listen to the sounds of Neilby strutting his stuff on the Peruvian dancefloors haha! Oh no what are STA doing? I could chill out here in blissful ignorance thinking everyone loved my witty, informative journal entries but no! Now you can vote on whether it was good or not. I`m at a disadvantage as I do daily updates so there`s not always going to be crazy stories and so I think I`m going to get a few bad ratings! Anyway I had a great breakfast of apple yoghurt and then flagged a taxi to my old hostel Loki. It took a while for my taxi to get me to the hostel as there was a huge demonstration in Plaza de Armas. The people were protesting about the Incan artefacts that Hiram Bingham (American archaeologist who discovered Machu Picchu) stole and put in an American museum. Give them their stuff back you swine! Ok he can`t but the US government should! It was a lovely morning so I sat revising my Spanish in the sunny courtyard of my hostel. I then went to the internet to use the Spanish learning CD-ROM the school gave me. I will book my bus later today before I have my Spanish lessons with Sofia and then maybe have a few drinks in the hostel bar. I returned to the hostle and was revising my Spanish when these two guys from Seattle waltz in and start speaking to each other about the most inane stuff loudly (These guys must have some weird amplifier in their vocal chords). I had to take refuge on the cold balcony. Later I went for a power nap and then woke up just in time for my Peruvian style meal. I then went back to my empty dorm, read my book and fell asleep before 11 (shocking!)
