Early wake up call today 6am, quick breakfast and pack the truck. First night of camping out the way! Slept terrible, waking every hour. First stop today was stoney point, a nature reserve home to the jackass penguins. Weather again today was cloudy but didn't rain much. From here we headed to the town of Hermanus famed for its whale sight seeing opportunities! A quick stop in stellenbosch before moving on. Firstly wine tasting on a winery called Jordan, not a huge wine fan but was nice to spend time with the group as 1st activity together. Later that day we went into stellenbosch, very much a student town with some old buildings dating back to the late 1700's and early 1800's. We found a bar and had a quiet drink and got to know a few of the group.

Booked out of the Ashanti lodge and headed to the Amalfi at sea point, meeting point for our trip. Met the group at 5 good mix of people, as expected alot of older people. Went for a 6 course meal which cost less than £10! Very tasty food but not very filling! Last sleep in a hotel for a while so will make the most of it!
