Epic 14k Trek Of Africa
Today we had a day trip to Lesotho via the Sani Pass, the only road into the Country from the South.
The Sani Pass was worse than a dirt track, 14km long and took about 2 hours to drive. It climbed up the drakensberg mountains to an altitude of 2874m.
75% of the country is Baron Land with a few small settlements/villages dotted about, we visited a local sheep shearing shed where it is cut by hand and visited a village where we had some fresh cooked bread and info on life in the village and how houses were built, very similar to coffee bay.
