Booked out of the Ashanti lodge and headed to the Amalfi at sea point, meeting point for our trip. Met the group at 5 good mix of people, as expected alot of older people. Went for a 6 course meal which cost less than £10! Very tasty food but not very filling! Last sleep in a hotel for a while so will make the most of it!

Plan of attack for today was a quiet trip to Kirstenbosch botanical gardens, entry was £3 had seen some of the local plants for south Africa, upon walking round the gardens we had seen a sign post for skeleton gorge, quite a hard walk but very pleasing some very nice sites, we decided to carry on up the gorge and had to climb several ladders to avoid waterfall and several boulders, we didn't like the idea of scrambling back down the rocks so carried on walking, ...

Went down to VA waterfront this morning and had to buy a new camera after mine broke on first day! Cheers! Ended up getting smashed in the Oktoberfest tent at the waterfront and that was our day!! Food is really cheap and a pint of lager is £1 :)

Had a 1 hour delay with our flight to Cape Town. Arrived at hostel and met up with Martin, bought a ticket for hop on/hop off bus and went to Table mountain, unfortunately it was cloudy so views were restricted but still amazing!

Had a quiet day today down at the V&A Waterfront, picked up some fish and chips and had a look round. Tried to go over to robben island but due to strikes there is fewer trips going out, next available trip was the 8th November! No good for us! Glad to be leaving cape town in a few days, as I am spending alot more than expected on beer alone, Andrews group is a bad influence on myself, Martin and Jon, wouldn't of thought a group of canadians aged between 5...
