Plan of attack for today was a quiet trip to Kirstenbosch botanical gardens, entry was £3 had seen some of the local plants for south Africa, upon walking round the gardens we had seen a sign post for skeleton gorge, quite a hard walk but very pleasing some very nice sites, we decided to carry on up the gorge and had to climb several ladders to avoid waterfall and several boulders, we didn't like the idea of scrambling back down the rocks so carried on walking, we ended up climbing table mountain! The weather was terrible at the top extremely cloudy and raining, visibility was appalling, morale was low as we didn't pack to climb table mountain, very little water and no food. The walk took around 5 hrs
Seeing the shop and cafe at the top was a welcoming site!
Well worth the 100 rand(£7) for cable car down
