First night of camping out the way! Slept terrible, waking every hour.
First stop today was stoney point, a nature reserve home to the jackass penguins. Weather again today was cloudy but didn't rain much.
From here we headed to the town of Hermanus famed for its whale sight seeing opportunities! Unfortunately we didn't see many whales, only the one coming up for a few breaths. Disappointed we didn't get a full breach.
The group had been given some bad news earlier today that we wouldn't be able to do shark cage diving as there were 6ft swells. Very disappointed to this as this was a highlight on my trip along with Namibia which had also been cancelled!
None the less plenty of things to look forward too!
Today I was on cooking duty along with David and Denise. The menu for today was Sausage and Mash, very good but looking forward to eating some local dishes!
