It's now been two weeks...can you tell we now have jobs?! No more lazing around in the sun for us as money is to be made! Parents abviously didn't get the hint about putting cash into our accounts....daaaaamn! As you can tell from the picture we've visited the cupcake factory :) We might bring you one back if you ask nicely! So we headed on a shopping spree to buy Emily some pressies for her birthday it was a right task! Firsty we couldn't decide what to get her...and then we had the challenge of getting the balloons home. We lost them firstly in Darling Harbour (one of the busiest places) then Kirsty let one go in Paddy's market... but much to our suprise one of the guys from a stall rescued it for us Back at the hostel we continued our excellence of cooking by having a BBQ then it was party time Headed to Starbar and had a right night...especially in the toilets with the toilet paper and the hole in the toilet door (See pics!) The night continued with a party in our room til the early hours! The majority of next day was spent in bed...watching films, eating and recovering! Kirsty Vicky and Emily finally started work on Monday...part timers! Loving their 5 breaks a day and getting sent home early! Vicky played god samaritan last week when she saved an old lady's dog which involved chasing it down a road...Kirsty stood and watched....she's not the biggest animal fan! The film of the week was 'My Best Friend's Girl' oh how we love our cinema trips! But really....go see it when it comes out in the UK we recommend it! Just worked for the next few days...making sales (some more than others!) We also went for tea at an Italian....the lasagne was NOT homemade...much to Vicky's disappointment, neither were the pancakes!She did attempt to complain about this matter although the waitress pretended she didn't understand English...hmmm It was then time for the weekend again! Attempted to make a Sunday dinner...pretty impressive! Especially the Yorkshire pudding! Note of the week....oxo is stock....NOT gravy! We took another trip to Coogee Beach this weekend....was hoping to be brought home by the bus although he threw everyone off in Newtown (another Hebden Bridge) it was full off wierdos! Tonight was another night in Starbar...wasn't as impressive as they'd filled the hole in the toilet door! No peek-a-boo this week! Sunday Vicky and Kirsty took another trip to Coogee, Emily and Michelle on the other hand....well....had another lazy day! Hence the pastiness! Took a trip to AB Hotel on Monday had tea there although it took a while as the staff were useless...couldn't even tell the difference between the numbers 6 and 4...therefore the food was cold when it arrived! Took part in the quiz and even though there were ten of us...managed to come last! Poor do....although we did get a drink for it (to share between ten) Had another week of work so no exciting tales to tell apart from Michelle achieved 14 sales for the week and only needed 15 for comission....gutted! Tonight being Friday we've stayed in for a haircut...what a ledge Matt is Oh and the weather still isn't right cracking...had quite abit of rain this week...hopefully it will pick up for the weekend as serious sunbathing is required! Hope all is good in England and you haven't forgotten us as we've actually been away for 6 weeks now! You will hear from us in 2 weeks as we work hard and long hours these days and don't have time for fun and frolics...booooo! Although this is compensated for at work as all we do is mess around!
