It is so hot walking to the Museo e Galleria Borghese I wish I could send some heat through to NZ! I am a constant glistening mess, but my 2euro fan is going strong. When we meander through some gardes to the Museo and get there 50 minutes early. theres no debate about waiting inside in the cool! Despite beautiful park and gardens around us. I refill the water bottles from a spring outside the gates. The spring pours out pure, freezing cold water, at various places around Rome. We get the audi tour and have a fantastic two hours seeing Berlini statues and artwork from 140AD. There are mosaic floors frm Roman times.
Afterwards, we meander back down Via Venetto. Its still very hot, at 5.30pm, Brett buys ties, afterall the shops have aircon......
We sit at the intersection at Piazza Barberini looking at the Fontana Del Tritone and the traffic and the people! After heading home for Brett to finish his conference paper and successfully send them to an ftp address(a mision to find out about that I can assure you) we eat nearby and watch italy beat Germany in the semifinals of the football
