On this route we stopped at a silk farm to see the silk worms and weavers and dyers in action as well as trying on the finished products. We then headed for the border where we stood for 2 long hours waiting to get in to Thailand. We could technically have paid to take the fast route but none of us were up for that on principle. 7 hours later we made it back to Bangkok in a rickety minibus with no lights and the door open to let some air in cause the air conditioning was on the blink. But we made it :) Our last dinner and drinks as a whole group and we said bye to Limny and Sinit, a wander round and bye to Jen and Lisa. The rest of us are sticking around for a couple of days. Very sad to be breaking up the party. Its been a brilliant group.
