I had a long lie before beakfast in the same place as last night (thick pancakes :) ) and headed off for a chilled out day. Internet and sitting by the pool. The one in the much nicer hotel :) Very good g&ts (apparently) and cocktails. Definately a bit of holiday spirit. We left Luang Prabang this morning for a 6hour bus journey over the mountains to Vang Vieng. Several stops along the way with fabulous scenery. We had lunch in a striking restaurant on a precipice on a hill with an amazing view. Chicken soup yum. We had an extra guide on our bus with the slogan 'No money,no honey' on his t-shirt. We were up this morning and out for a drive in the minivan to another waterfall. We took a leaky little boat with a dodgy engine up the river to get there. After breakfast we headed out and over a windy road to get to a waterfall and bear sanctuary. Very cute black bears and a very blue waterfall. Mum was very excited about getting a swim and it was a lovely cool morning but not too cool that we didnt appreciate getting in the water. The only strange thing was being unable to keep your feet still for too long as there were little fish nibbling your feet. I think they were probably those pedicure fish from the Overga...
