This trip was just me and mum, two older guys and a very camp guide. He totally made the trip interesting :) We visited the bridge, the war museum and cemetery and had a couple of boat trips up the river. We heard all about the death railway, the POWs and the terrible conditions they worked under to complete the railway. We also went on the train for a fabulous ride along the railway (some of it original) with some amazing scenery.

We met up with the others to go for dinner and we had an interesting journey to get there on the skytrain. My sense of direction wasnt quite as slick as usual :( I have been totally spoiled this trip :-/ We made it though and we introduced the others to an old favourite restaurant from my last trip, Cabbages and Condoms. We also went for an after party in one of the girls' new hotel room which was an awful lot swankier than where we were staying. Eventually we crashed back at our hotel readyish for another early start.
