Today was my last day in rio so decided to go to Santa Teresa. Got on the correct bus thinking way hey I have finally got this but atlas I way heyed to soon. Ended up in centro with no idea where to go. Strolled around and found a lovely park next to the bay and there was a huge bike race going on. Sat and listened to some of the tunes before I headed off to find the famous stairs in Santa Teresa (escadaria de selaron).

Walked for ages up the wrong hill!!!! Turned around and figured it was time for a picnic in the park! There was a great food market next to it so pick up some fruit etc!

Round 2- managed to find the stairs!!! They were awesome!! A chilean artist has been covering 215 steps from Lapa to Santa Teresa with over 2000 tiles from 120 different countries! Was awesome to see and not very many tourists which made it that much better! After climbing the steps I figured why stop so carried on up the hill. Came across this old ruined house you can have a look at. Again amazing views as rio is really very beautiful and a ban started playing! They were amazing so ended up just chilling and listening to them for the rest of the afternoon before heading back!

But gutted I didn't get a chance to party in rio but I didn't really meet many people as there is only limited space in the favela! Still overall had a great time but definitely ready to move on!!
