Just a travel day today but amazingly I got through rio with out any problems! Got the bus to the station and just booked my ticket to ilha grande!

The bus was really nice, huge reclining seats and beautiful views all the way to angra!

Met a Dutch guy at the bus station so followed him so I got to the right port! 80 minute boat trip later and we were in ilha grande! Felt like absolute bliss after crazy rio! People speak English, it is tiny and lots of lovely beaches!

Went out for a really early all you can eat diner and spent the rest of the night drinking beer and caipirinhas.
