Day 8 - Koh Samui

Whoahoo this is where Shawn and I can relax. Got greeted at the airport by Shawns friend Lee (who lives on the island) and he took us to a few places where we could stay. We chose a one where our room was bout 10 steps from beach (ALSO - the best bit is the room was painted in bright pinks - lol Shawn loved it as much as i did) . Luckily also got a free jeep from Lee for the time we were there so we got to drive about. Anyway the beach was beautiful, calm quite, and clear. Got about a hour on beach. In which Shawn had his first swimming lesson with me and actually kept afloat for about 10 metres - so was a very proud day lol. Headed into Chaweng (main area of island) ten minute drive. Ah really busy here. Met up with Lee and he took us out nightlife was amazing here - I loved it. Visited Solo bar, PFC bar, a couple of others and the Green Mango club.

Day 9 -
Shawn and i were a tad hung over and tired, so just relaxed and got up late. Lee took us to a posh hotel to chill by the pool, we were the only ones using it so that was great and pool was lovely - warm but lovely. Shawn had another swim lesson, will try put the video of him swimming on here later - lol little comic treat for u all. Shawn then played bowls (not sure how u spell) on the beach with lee and his friend whilst i watch sun go down and wrote in my journal. Went out for dinner in Chewang. Spoke to daddy :-) at long last - someone there to answer my call.

Day 10-
Got up early to sort out flights from Koh Samui to KL. Nearly got sucked in by some promotor people gave us scratch cards and apparently i won one of the top prizes but we had to go to a hotel to watch a presentation. We thought it was time share and thought better of it. Started thunder storming so went back and played cards. It then cleared and we lazyed on the beach for a while. in evening went to Quayside -LEes bar for dinner and then of to see a lady boys show. Very amusing did dancing and singing impressions of stars like Whitney, Kylie Mingoue, Gwen Stefani, etc. Go a few guys out of the audience and dressed them up. At the end of show all the ladyboys are near ur seats calling all the men to come have pics with them - Shawn had one done and then had to give her money which he put by her boobs - lol think he enjoyed that more than he should have really haha.

Day 11 Had a Thai massage on the beach for a hour was fantastic - apart from my shoulders were a little sunburnt so a bit sensitive there. Went to Chawang beach and then bought some dvds -hope they work - something to look forward to when i go home. Had dinner at Quayside again I tried fresh white snapper fish was very yummy. Lee took us out bar hopping in Chaweng again - ended up in a Gogo bar lol - (as i was bit out numbered with the 3 guys).
